Is there a Lake Tahoe City in Nevada? Cause the Tahoe/Donner area is totally on the Cali side of the border. I've flown into Reno several times and passed over into Cali to go to my step uncle's place there, skiing with the family.

People that have never driven a stick and people that have driven stick have the same amount of learning curve to get used to my Cusco FW and RPS Clutch. Once they get the amount of travel the clutch pedal needs to engage they all say the same thing, "That wasn't as bad as I thought." I daily my car and love the feel. I need to give it a little more in teh takeoff but then again, revving is nice. Maybe my heavy *** rims are compensating, hmmm.....

synchros can cope with much more than your give them credit for. i routinly shift from 4th to 2nd to initiate drift i also shift from 1st to third when im trying to be quiet around my apt complex at night. manual trannys do whatever you ask them to. mine made me a ham sandwich about an hour ago.
if your worried about rev matching you dont need to be.
the only time that matters is when you dont want to upset the driveline in high grip situations.
the clutch will take up the speed difference and translate that into a shock to the wheels
the short story is this : you dont grind gears if the clutch pedal is depressed unless the speed difference is huge (like 200%+ of the gear) that means going 3rd to 1st or something if you walk through the gate like you should you will not grind.

I blew up my 2nd gear synchro. On my 2nd tranny now with cusco race flywheel and 4 puck unsprung clutch. I have to rev higher rpm @ lights and have to shift quick from 1st to 2nd. kind of a pain in the ***. but real fun when you dump it.

Ok, not calling you a liar, but I don't understand how that is possible. My combo doesn't let the RPMs drop like a brick and I drive it completely normal. I don't shift fast, I don't even shift quick. I do it at a medium pace..(snicker) To be plain and simple, I haven't had to adjust to driving this at all. Or maybe I'm just a badass wheelman. And yes, Vipi0s above post is correct, his tranny even does windows..His clutch on the other hand is a ****.
