Well.... i've thought about it and I'm liking how these ka-t's are coming along so I'm going that route...

And while I get the engine work done I might as well do a bunch of body work/lightening up.....so here are some pics.... low quality ones...

There's only two of the wheels right now, until i can come across two more, the other ones he had were in bad shape...

I like the mesh look, just dont like paying too much for some really nice ones...

The 240 is more of a project car than the t/a, while i still do mod the t/a.

I've gotten the 5.3 stage 2.5 220cc heads from prc, an ms3 cam (237/242 .603/.609") and i still need the dual row timing chain...head/cam install kit, bolts, and etc... til i can put em on.

I've also got some big plans for that 240 though...

You sure the MS3 is going to fit with the S2.5 5.3's? If you have anything over a 2.02 intake valve you're gonna have some PTV clearence problems. However, if you have flycut your pistons or have a forged shortblock you should be ok. MS3 is a big cam to be going with those 5.3's.

I have stage 3 5.3's from TEA and i have a 224/230 .551/.551 @ 114 and I could go with a bigger cam, but it leaves me with some insurance plus the low lift and dual valve springs keeps the valve float down.

I've contemplated an ls1 240.... but I used to have a turbo car and i miss the turbo....

Aaaand lastly, yup I was planning on getting the pistons flycut, none of the parts are on the car yet.. I'm trying to get everything little by little..
I'm kind of torn between the 5.3 w/ ms3 or the prc ls6 style 2.5 heads with an ms4 239/242 .649/.609 111 lobe separation....rough idle lol.

I really really like the MS4, I used to have the MS3 when I was cam only, I switched over to a smaller cam that I could rev higher and make the same power for a road racing setup. I rode in a Z28 with the MS4 and PRC LS6 heads and that thing pulled like a raped ape. He put down 483rwhp 440rwtq

Anybody got any kind of suggestions as far as lightening up the car goes? I've got the sound deadener stuff gone, got rid of the power sliding seat belt thingy, all the seat belts, seats are out right now... and im stuck. I'm also just looking for things i can do with the car while i wait for parts and such....
