engine wont run worth a damn (stuck)

ok its been 3 weeks now... i have a carbed 3tc (1.8L toyota motor). Well it used to run great then it slowly started dying worse and worse every day. But it would have its moments where it ran good for a few min. then right back to sputtering and spattering. not going past 3.5k and taking nealy minutes to reach. Now the thing is it takes a lot of effort to get it to start and starter fluid doesnt help the process one bit.

Its got a weber 32/36 DGAV, mild cammed, headers

i replaced all the timing chain, ignition coil, plugs, and checked all my grounds. Still doing the exact same thing.

I am at a stand still, i really just want to get her running i miss her. Im freaking out man! :taz

btw anbody have a weber DGV downdraft carb they might be willing to part with?

Clogged/dirty fuel filter or failing fuel pump is my guess

eh redid all those but not starting even with starter fluid is telling me its somthing other then fuel delivery

Did you put E85 in it per chance?

Are you sure you are getting spark? I know you replaced the coil and plugs. But, did you confirm you have spark?

yes but it seems like the timing is still off yet eveything is where it should be at???!?!

now i tried to use a gm Ignition module since toyota is asking 400$ for a stinking IM... well that was an epic fail now with the old setup its not getting any spark at all.

luckily I found a solid state IM at oriellys for 167 bones. still a price to pay for somthing that might not even be the issue.

I have a tester that can test most of those modules n stuff but it sounds like the timing chain has been jumping teeth check cam timing. line up crank to 0 pull valve cover look at cam indicators. Been years since ive seen one of those but seems to me it should be fairly simple
